CIFO agreements with regulators

CIFO has agreements with the financial sector regulators in both Jersey and Guernsey that set out how we will cooperate and share information in the public interest. While the agreement with the Guernsey regulator cannot be published, CIFO’s Memorandum of Understanding  with the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) is available for review below.

Guernsey – Jersey agreement regarding CIFO’s pan-island operation

The committee for Economic Development (Guernsey) and The Minister for Economic Development, Tourism, Sport and Culture (Jersey) have a Memorandum of Understanding to operate their respective Financial Services Ombudsman schemes jointly as the Channel Islands Financial Ombudsman, operating from a shared office in Jersey with the same board members and staff.
